HHC welcomed twenty Holocaust survivors from “Children of the War” based in Netanya to the Caesarea villa to celebrate the last day of Sukkot with Alyosha and Jody Ryabinov and a group from Hong Kong called Succat Daveed.
Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, is an eight-day holiday that brings people from around the world to celebrate the feast in the Land of Israel. Most congregate to Jerusalem, where sukkahs fill the streets; however, this year, the real festivities took place in Poriya Illit, located near Tiberias!

Thousands of food baskets and shopping notes have been distributed to Holocaust survivors across the country for the New Year and holidays by Yad Help Israel activists and volunteers, in Mevaseret Zion, in the surrounding communities, and throughout the country.
