Six years ago, The Dental Treatment Project was born and focuses on bringing dental aid to survivors in need. Partnering with Jewish Voice International, an organization stationed in Arizona, USA, Helping Hand Coalition has helped hundreds of survivors receive financial assistance for major dental work! On July 24th, HHC hosted a concert event for Holocaust survivors living in Or Akiva who participated in the Dental Treatment Project, so they could meet and get to know those involved in creating the project on a deeper level. It was a joyous afternoon, full of smiles and new friendships.
As HHC begins to slow down for Israel’s hot summer, on July 8th we hosted a small group of thirteen survivors from Survivors of Nazism, located in Hadera. Bozena Gasiorowski welcomed everyone to the villa and shared her excitement for the day’s musical talents — Alyosha & Jody Ryabinov, David Forman, Claudia, and Dagi — to perform.
This week, five events were hosted by Helping Hand Coalition, organized by Alexander and Cecilia Dietze, HHC representatives. Beginning on the 25th of June until the 2nd of July, a group from Artists for the Holocaust Survivors traveled around Israel to exhibit their paintings to groups of Holocaust survivors.
Helping Hand Coalition is constantly looking for people to get involved in working with Holocaust survivors and bringing aid to those who are alone and without simple commodities. For one very special night, on June 22nd, HHC hosted a charity pop-up and auction to help the dreams of seven special Holocaust survivors come true.

Being in a room with Holocaust Survivors never loses its spark. June 10th’s Shalom House was once again hosted at Helping Hand Coalition’s villa in Caesarea. There were a couple of familiar faces as ghetto survivors from Hadera graced us with their presence for an afternoon that was beautiful and emotional.
Shalom Houses are always a highlight of the week! This week, on May 27th, we had another group from Children of the War, based in Netanya, join us for a small concert at the villa in Caesarea. Hosted by Bozena Gasiorowski and translated by Alyosha Ryabinov, the afternoon was filled with music and fellowship.
